Pain, Neglect And Cruelty In A "Shelter" In Turkey
Please turn up your speakers
The slide show that you are going to view was recorded on Sept 15, 2006,
at the Sariyer Kocatas shelter in Istanbul, Turkey.
The Sariyer Shelter is run by AIG, a sub-contractor of Biosav that was given the job of neuter and release in Istanbul by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality as a result of a legal tender.
The resulting consequences of this unholy tender are repelling and indefensible.
Turkey is a country seeking entrance to and alliance with the European Union.
Hopefully she will also seek to enter a positive and assertive phase of animal protection and decimate those officials responsible for neglect and bureaucratic brutality; those officials and certain individuals who should relegate the memory and their emulation of that plundering Mongol warrier, Atilla the Hun, remembered as the epitome of cruelty, to the yellowed and crumbling pages of history.
